Enhancing the SASB Standards—An Overview of the Exposure Drafts

Join our webinar to learn about the International Sustainability Standards Board’s (ISSB) consultation on proposed amendments to the SASB Standards.  

ISSB technical staff will discuss the proposals in the two July 2025 exposure drafts. The proposals present a comprehensive review of nine priority industries in the Extractives & Minerals Processing sector and the Processed Foods industry, targeted amendments to 41 industries and consequential amendments to the Industry-based Guidance on Implementing IFRS S2.  

The webinar will also explain: 

• how to engage with the survey (which is designed to be modular, so stakeholders can respond only to the parts relevant to them); and 
• how the industry-specific SASB Standards serve as a useful source of guidance for applying IFRS S1 and IFRS S2. 

The webinar is aimed to provide an overview of the proposed changes and the rationale for those changes, and to provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions about the proposals. The exposure drafts are open for public comment until 30 November 2025.
